Closet cleanout policies:

• Seller policies (for people selling clothes to Bratspell)

  • Accepted categories: Clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags, accessories

  • Accepted styles: Vintage, Y2K, alternative, streetwear, indie, 90’s

  • Condition requirements: Clean, odor-free, free of significant stains, holes, excessive piling, or ither damages

  • Brand requirements: We buy selected bands first (check list) we will not buy most fast fashion brands, but we will take selected pieces as donation to our scrap fabric pile if we think it can be taken apart and turned into a new life. We will not purchase unbranded or counterfeit designer items.

  • Seasonal buying: We accept clothing even if it is not currently in season (ex. selling us summer clothes in winter is okay!)

  • Authenticity: Counterfeit or suspected counterfeit merchandise is not accepted

  • Right to decline : I reserve the right to decline any item, even if it meets our general guidelines

• Evaluation and Offers

  • Offers are based on brand, condition, style, current demand, resale value, and available inventory

  • Original retail price does not guarantee a particular offer

  • Offers may vary depending on the time of year and current buying needs

  • Items are evaluated individually or as part of a disclosed buying arrangement

  • All offers are communicated to the seller before the transaction is finalized.

  • Sellers may decline an offer before accepting it.

  • We offer cash, store credit, or both!

  • Offers are not negotiable with a minimum purchase amount of $50

• Payment and ownership

  • Payment methods: Cash, electronic payment (cashapp, zelle) , store credit

  • After evaluation, I will email you a google sheet of every item and the payout to which you can accept or deny the offer, and payment will be given in person at a mutually agreed upon location as well as any items being given back to the seller.

  • Accepted offers become final once the transaction is completed

  • Once purchased, merchandise becomes property of Bratzspell

  • Purchased items cannot be returned to the seller simply because they did not sell

  • Sellers must have the legal right to sell the merchandise

  • Identification, receipts, seller records, or other documentation may be required where applicable

• Declined merchandise

  • Sellers are notified which items are declined

  • Declined items must be collected by the seller at time of payment

  • There will be an established deadline for picking up declined items depending on size of lot, which will be communicated to the seller

  • We offer to take the declined items to our nearest donation center with the seller’s consent

  • We accept appointments and drop-offs

Shopper policies (buying from Bratzspell)

• All merchandise is secondhand unless explicitly states otherwise

• Items may show normal signs of previous wear

• Any known significant flaws should be disclosed in the listing or at point of sale

• Customers are encouraged to inspect items, measurements, and descriptions before purchasing

• Vintage sizing and modern sizing may differ

• Colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screens

Returns, exchanges, and refunds

• Returns are permitted if:

  • The item sold on multiple sites, and is out of stock (The person who bought it the earliest will receive the item, and the other will get refunded)

  • The customer is unsatisfactory with the purchased item due to an incorrect sizing / damages were not explicitly listed in the description

  • Refunds and exchanges are not permitted.

• Holds, reservations, and promotions

  • Merchandise may not be placed on hold

  • Discounts may be combined based on promo

  • Store credit may only be used at in person pop-up events
